Colin Rice

Colin Rice joined OLDER LUNDY in 2023 as a member of the firm’s Real Estate practice group. A seasoned advocate, Colin has represented clients throughout Hillsborough, Pasco, Sarasota, Manatee, Polk, Columbia, and Collier counties, as well as the City of Tampa, the Town of Redington Shores and Plant City. My Experience

Colin Rice

Mr. Rice spent five years as an Assistant City Attorney for the City of Tampa and has been growing his local government, real estate, and land use practice in the private sector since 2019. Colin is admitted to practice law in the State of Florida and is a member of the Hillsborough County Bar Association as well as the Florida Bar’s Land Use and Environmental Law Section. While obtaining his J.D. from Florida State University College of Law, Colin clerked with the Florida Department of Business and Professional Regulation: Real Estate Division.

Colin has extensive experience in rezonings, comprehensive plan amendments, annexations, municipal code text amendments, variances, flood control regulations, special/ conditional uses, code enforcement, local official appeals, homestead exemptions, easement disputes, alcohol permitting and special assessments. Colin is on the board of the Tampa Bay Chapter of the Emory University Alumni Association, and has served on the Tampa Bay Chamber Small Business of the Year Committee. When Colin is not working, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his wife and two boys.
